Beautiful Chaos 1.0 Created by: Mikel Gomez Chantal Saroldi Cemil Bedran Yildirim The patch is playing back samples based on the tempo of a metronome, and is randomly choosing which one of up to 15 different samples is fired. The sample is then played randomly chosen to be played back in one out of six different modes: - Forward *1 Speed - Reverse *1 Speed - Forward *0.5 Speed - Reverse *0.5 Speed - Forward *2 Speed - Reverse *2 Speed Dry signal module: - Metronome switch and knob for sample firing tempo. - Panning and amplitude knobs for the dry sample. Sample management module: - Sample slots knob: Gives the user the opportunity to choose how many slots to choose launching from. - Clear button: Clear all the loaded samples. - Sample Length: Clears all the loaded samples and sets the read length for the samples dropped in the Sample Slots. - 15 sample slots. Delay X module: Prefilter options: - Dropdown menu for choosing filter type. - Frequency knob - Resonance knob Delay options: - Delay time knob. - Delay feedback knob. Pan options: - Panning of delay knob. - Pan LFO amount knob. - LFO Frequency knob. End Filter module: - Dropdown menu for choosing filtr type. - Frequency knob. - Resonance knob. Reverb module: - Dry/Wet knob. - Size knob, for changing the size of the reverb. - Decay knob, for changing the decay of the reverb. - Damping knob, for changing the damping of the reverb. - Diffusion knob, for changing the diffusion of the reverb. Design notes: - Suggestion for future releases: - User should be able to deactivate specific samples. - An ADSR for the amplitude of sample should be added. - Add visual feedback of panning being automated by LFO - User should be able to deactivate/choose specific playback modes. - Sample Length knob does not clear already added samples but only affects newly added samples. - Freeze functionality (button that sets Delay feedback(s) to 0.99, Dry Amplitude to 0)
